Isn’t it strange that one would spend $500+ on a handgun and then stick it in a $20 lock box?  Gone are the days of cheap imported “safes” holding your precious firearm with nothing more than a thin tether.  Say goodbye to failure-prone biometric locks and weak cylinder locks.  No more stuffing that tin foil lock box in some inaccessible spot.  Or maybe you just need a safe place to store your wallet and phone when camping, at the beach, fishing, etc.?

Say hello to the Massive Hidden Console Vault, now in Weld-It-Yourself kit form!  Finally a way to securely stow your valuables in your 100 Series Land Cruiser/LX470, safe and out of sight.  Our vault is nested inside the lower portion of the center console which provides quick and easy access.  The bolt-on design picks up factory mounting points for an easy installation.  1st and 2nd row cup holder and upper console box functionality is retained.  We spared no expense with the design which includes a Simplex mechanical lock (simply the best lock you can get for a pistol safe), full-length spring-loaded hinge, and heavy-gauge steel construction throughout. Save some coin and get some satisfaction by building your own super fun WIY kit!

*Installation Notes:

  • The Hidden Console Vault will fit in the console on the left and not the one on the right.

  • If your center console contains any factory-installed equipment in the lower console box (such as cupholder inserts, DVD player, 12V accessory socket, etc.), those items will need to be removed to allow fitment of the vault.
  • The lower half of the console box liner will need to be unscrewed and removed, which reduces overall rigidity of the console.  The console may flex somewhat with heavy applied loads.
  • The optional removable lower cup holder insert cannot be used with the vault in place.
  • Any protrusions in the remaining upper half of the console box liner will need to be removed to allow proper function of the vault door.  Please see the installation manual for more details.
  • The front row cup holders and 2nd row cup holders will still function properly.  The rear heater control will also function properly.
